Our Ribbon Meet is coming up on the 12th and 13th September. This is the major
fundraiser for the Club so we need your support. To run the meet we need the
following jobs filled from YOU
FOOD 1 - 3 people - to organise and pass food and water
around to the officials during the meet
FOOD 2 – we need everyone to please bring a plate on BOTH
nights so that we can provide the officials with a little something. Sweet /
Savoury/ Fruit so please indicate what you will be able to bring.
RIBBONS & RESULTS - 2 people – from the results
sort out into Clubs whom gets these. They are only for swimmers with
PB’s.
RUNNER – 2 people – to put up the results, help with
giving ribbons to clubs –
RAFFLES & PROGRAMMES – 2 people to be there early to
sell raffles and programmes. Raffle person to also collate together donations
received into prize lots. There is Club cellophane etc to do this so please
ask
SET UP POOL – this needs to be done on the night – tables,
swim canterbury gear, raffle table seating etc so need lots of hands to help
early
OFFICIALS – these come from other clubs as well but please
don’t hesitate to put your name forward.
We need as many of you to help with this – Timekeepers - 16, IOT’s - 8,
Marshall – 2, Quantum – 1. Computers – 2..
