In preparation for the New Zealand Open Championships on the 8th to the 11th of April and the New Zealand Age Group Championships on the 29th of April to the 3rd of May 12 swimmers from the North Canterbury Swim Club travelled south over the weekend to compete in the 2014 Otago Anniversary Meet. This was held at the Moana pool in Dunedin from the 22nd to the 23rd of March. Both the NZ Open and Age Group Championships are long course meets as was this Otago meet. Brigitte Mahan the Head Coach from Wai Swim said "it was a great meet rehearsal, five weeks out from the Age Group Champs. The swimmers are able to see where they are and what to focus on."
